Now Playing Applications can improve the look of your Radio Station web
pages. Having the currently playing song title and artist displayed on
your web page is accoplished by interfaceing to the automation system, decoding,
formatting and sending the information to a web application that can dynamically
display it on a page. Currently my applications are writen in flash.
There is a shift happening in the world of web programming. It seems many
of the big players are moving away from flash. I suspect it is because
flash is not supported on portable devices.
Under Development is a new series of web applications that do not rely on
flash. The new apps will be compatible with all portable devices.
